Maple is easy to handle and friendly, gets along in a mixed herd well, and respects my fencing on turnout, or will stall.
Maple will ride, and does drive(I haven’t but watched the Amish drive her down the road and they had her cruising right along) but is forward to drive so I’d reccomend working with her to teach her it’s alright to take it slow in the cart.
Maple would make an awesome leadline mini or a mini for a kid to ride, she excels when she has a job rather than just sitting but doesn’t mind to really be a pasture ornament either or a companion!

⭐️ 42” (on the stick) 18yo GRADE paint pony mare
⭐️ She rides reeds a refresher she’s been allowed to be a pasture puff too long, honestly may ride better with a smaller kid (I know I’m too big for her but I don’t have anyone here to ride small stuff so I was only on a quick minute)
⭐️ Crossties, ties, picks front feet fine but will pull her back feet if you let her, loads on a step up or a ramp, doesn’t mind my dog, goats, sheep, chickens etc
⭐️ She has some pep in her step when riding but again just someone to put a refresher on her (hasn’t bucked just needs reminded) but she does just fine on leadline for leadline rides, she does take a saddle.
⭐️ Not a hard keeper, no known special dietary needs
⭐️ Came from a friend of mine who’s kids used her to go on trail rides together (others were big horses could be why she wants to walk and trot a little faster than I’d like her to) but the kids have decided they didn’t want to do much with the horses this summer so she wanted me to find her a home.
⭐️ Current coggins
⭐️ De wormed. Due for farrier (trim she’s barefoot unknown if she’s ever had shoes)
⭐️ No known health concerns, no known past of founder
⭐️ Lives on 24/7 pasture currently but will stall if you choose

🐑 1 adult ewe, was exposed in pasture to a ram for fall kidding, relatively friendly and loves head scratches once she gets to warm up to you!

🐐 1 black and white Boer nanny quiet

Both are grade, respect my fencing, and are good together mixed with goats and sheep living outside with shelters with hay and grain. Both vaccinated with CD&T and recently dewormed!
I do not have pictures of their parents, & I’m not sure on exact ages.
