🐾❤️ MEET ROMEO — ALL THE WAY FROM GEORGIA, FIGHTING TO SAVE HIS EARS!

Romeo survived a devastating attack by another dog, leaving him with severe injuries to his ears and surrounding tissue.

His family traveled all the way from Georgia to Texas, hoping that hyperbaric oxygen therapy could help give his damaged tissue a fighting chance.

Dog bites aren’t just surface wounds. The crushing forces can destroy tiny blood vessels, compromise circulation, and leave tissue struggling to survive.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy helps deliver additional oxygen to compromised tissues, supports healing, and may help reduce swelling and inflammation.

Can we save Romeo’s ears? We don’t know yet. But we’re certainly going to try! ❤️

Positive thoughts for this sweet, boy as he heads through yet another surgery to make him whole again. What bad humans took away. Good humans are giving back. This boy has made so many emotional changes to the good. He likes to meet everybody now he’s doing so good even though he lost his best bud Charm last month. Positive thoughts, Rocky.

We had a great weekend helping owners keep their pups safe from venomous snakes!!! 🐍 Our Trainers Rio Concho Kennels , David Egger are always innovating and making our training the best, safest and most of all effective!! Phillip Bacigalupo our snake handler, brought a variety of rattlesnakes and copperheads to use in the training and to educate people about the snakes environment and how to keep themselves and their pets safe. He also answered a few wives tales about snake habitat and snake behavior. Please watch for our next year, snake avoidance training clinic. In the comments, we will show several dogs being trained and working through the different scenarios where they would encounter snakes in their outside world! David also incorporated a survey should any of the dogs run into a snake outside of the training!! if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out and there are other snake avoidance clinics put on by David Egger around this area. We feel so passionate about educating the dogs and their owners .
