This sweet little guy came in 2 days ago from being hit by a car. He has a broken jaw and therefore hasn’t wanted to eat. This evening we placed an esophageal tube (small plastic tube that’s surgically inserted into the esophagus) that allows food to be delivered to the stomach without the cat having to use his mouth.

After the procedure, Jasmine gave him a laser therapy treatment to help with pain & inflammation.

Shout out to Savannah (who recently won “Most Compassionate” award in her Veterinary Technology program) for doing a laser therapy treatment on a chihuahua that needed knee surgery. (I love their matching eye protection🥰)

Laser therapy treatment proves to be an important factor in tissue healing. The energy from the light triggers a series of biological reactions that increase blood flow, reduce inflammation, and promotes healing.

I got to see one of my most favorite patients from PPPR today….. Hope! Last year I had to remove her eyes due to a traumatic injury, and since then she has been living her best life! Thank you, Jaime, for giving so many pets a second chance! 💕
