☀️ Pet parents: this week's extreme heat is no joke. 🐾

Hot take: summer isn't everyone's favorite season—especially if you have four legs and a fur coat.

As temperatures climb, protecting pets from overheating should be top of mind. A few simple precautions can make a big difference:

💧 Keep fresh, cool water available at all times
🌳 Make sure pets have access to shade
🚶 Walk early in the morning or later in the evening
🚗 Never leave pets in a parked car—even for a minute
🐾 Watch for signs of heat stress, including excessive panting, vomiting, confusion, or lethargy

While we're enjoying BBQs, road trips, and summer fun, our pets are counting on us to help them stay safe and comfortable.
