Another great day at Adventure Camp with an all-regular crew! 🥰 Today we had Liam, Mo, Franklin, Heath & Hobbs.

Our day was filled with a balanced mix of enrichment, movement, socialization, and downtime — following our Follow • Play • Explore • Rest approach.

Today’s adventures included:
🐾 Sniffari & exploration
🎾 Socialization & playtime
🏃 Treadmill & slatmill work
🌿 Structured pack walk
🧘‍♂️ Plenty of opportunities for rest & decompression

We also worked on our usual foundation skills throughout the day — threshold manners, leash skills, recall & name recognition, and appropriate socialization.

A great group of familiar faces made for another fun, productive day at camp! 💛🐾

Another great day at Adventure Camp with a mix of familiar faces and one new camper! 🥰

Today's campers:
✨ Regulars: Buster, Franklin, Grover, Jethro & Hobbs, Cosmo
🌟 New camper: Hazel — welcome to Adventure Camp!

We had a full day of enrichment with:
🌿 Sniffari & exploration
🎾 Socialization & playtime
🏃 Treadmill & slatmill work for physical and mental exercise
🐾 A structured pack walk
🧘 Plenty of opportunities for rest and decompression

We also continued practicing our usual foundation skills—threshold manners, leash skills, recall & name recognition, and appropriate socialization, including reading other dogs' cues and respecting boundaries.

Our Follow • Play • Explore • Rest model keeps each camp day intentionally balanced, giving dogs opportunities to exercise their bodies, challenge their brains, socialize appropriately, explore their environment, and take the breaks they need to stay regulated and fulfilled.

A wonderful day with this crew, and we're so happy to welcome Hazel to the Adventure Camp family! 🥰🐾

Adventure Camp 8/27 💛🐾🌿
An absolutely beautiful day for Adventure Camp—and this crew of regulars had an absolute blast together! 🥰 With a group of familiar faces, we were able to focus on having fun, exploring, building confidence, and continuing to sharpen all those important everyday skills.

Today's campers:
✨ Mo
✨ Uisce
✨ Maija
✨ Teemu
✨ Liam
✨ Mango

Today's adventures included:
🌿 Sniffari & exploration — plenty of time to follow their noses and take in their surroundings
🎾 Socialization & play — enjoying time together and practicing appropriate social skills
🏃 Short treadmill walks — adding a little mental enrichment and encouraging focus and engagement
🐾 Pack walk — practicing calm, connected walking as a group
💪 Confidence-building exercises — jumping on and off new objects and learning to confidently navigate unfamiliar surfaces and challenges

We also continued practicing our everyday foundation skills:
• Threshold manners — building impulse control and waiting to be invited through doorways.
• Leash skills — staying connected to the handler and walking politely without pulling.
• Name recognition & recall — building responsiveness and engagement even with distractions around them.

As always, we followed our Follow • Play • Explore • Rest model to create a balanced day that gives dogs opportunities to move, think, socialize, explore, and decompress.

A beautiful day, a fantastic group, and six happy regulars who clearly had the best time together. 💛🐾 We couldn't have asked for a better Adventure Camp day!

Adventure Camp 8/20 💛🐾🌿

Another busy and enriching day at Adventure Camp with a wonderful mix of familiar faces and new friends! 🥰 This crew had a full day of movement, exploration, socialization, and plenty of opportunities to practice those important everyday skills.

Today's campers:
✨ Regulars: Liam, Uisce, Mickie, Mango, Franklin, Teemu & Jethro
🌟 New campers: Millie, Stanley, Cosmo & Iris — welcome to Adventure Camp! 💛

Today's adventures included:
🐾 Structured pack walks
🎾 Socialization & appropriate play
🌿 Sniffari and plenty of opportunities to explore
🏃 Treadmill & slat mill work for additional physical and mental enrichment
🧘 Structured downtime to rest, decompress, and recharge

Throughout the day, we also continued working on our usual foundation skills:
• Threshold manners — practicing impulse control and waiting patiently at doorways until invited through.
• Leash skills — staying connected with the handler and walking without pulling.
• Recall & name recognition — building responsiveness and engagement.
• Appropriate socialization — reading social cues, respecting boundaries, and learning when it's time to take a break.

At Adventure Camp, we follow our Follow • Play • Explore • Rest model to make sure dogs aren't simply getting worn out, but are getting the right combination of physical exercise, mental stimulation, social interaction, exploration, and intentional rest.

Adventure Camp 8/18 💛🐾🌿

We had such a great group at Adventure Camp today! This crew had wonderfully compatible personalities and play styles, which made for a really fun, easy-going day of exploring, socializing, and spending time together. 🥰

Today's campers:
✨ Regulars: Uisce, Mo, Frida & Franklin
🌟 New camper: Pepper — welcome to Adventure Camp! 💛
Today's adventures included:
🌿 Plenty of time exploring and socializing in the yard
⚡ Franklin got some extra physical and mental exercise on the slat mill
🧘 The rest of the crew had already gotten their earlier workouts in, so we used that time for some well-earned R&R
🐾 A structured pack walk to finish out the day
🎾 One more quick social session before heading home

We also worked on all of our usual foundation skills throughout the day—threshold manners, leash skills, recall & name recognition, appropriate socialization, and learning to read and respect other dogs' boundaries.

This group was such a great match! Everyone brought their own personality to the mix, and they got along wonderfully together. 💛 It's always so rewarding to see dogs find the right social balance—getting to play, interact, explore, and then comfortably settle when it's time to take a break.
