🐾🦠 Future Mold Detection Dog Oakley Is Making Excellent Progress! 🔎🏡

Oakley is now fully imprinted on the selected target odors of common household molds identified by our client and is successfully detecting them during training exercises! 🎯🐕‍🦺

She’s also learning to work through an expanding variety of real-world distractions, strengthening her ability to stay focused on the target odors. These exercises will help strengthen her detection skills, build confidence, and prepare her for joining her handler, Author Kali Storm of Root Level Living for our Fall 2026 Mold Detection Dog Handler Course beginning in November.
🐕‍🦺 📚 💪🐾 🎓

Through consistent training, positive reinforcement, and a solid foundation in odor recognition and discrimination, Oakley is developing the skills needed for her future role as a professional Mold Detection Dog. 📈🔎🦠💯

🌎🏠 Next up: Real-world training! 🐾🔍 Stay tuned as Oakley advances into the next phases of her training, putting her nose to the test in realistic scenarios and diverse environments.

Future Mold Detection Dog Oakley is nose-in & putting in the reps! 🐾 🔎🦠

She’s learning that odor pays, through consistent imprinting and reinforcement, and is building a strong, positive association with the first two live target odors of the six in her custom training aid kit created by us. While developing the focus and confidence needed for future training and detection work. 🐾 🏋️‍♀️ 💯

Today We Remember. Today We Honor.

On this day, we pause to remember the lives lost and the first responders, everyday citizens, K9 teams and countless other heroes who ran toward danger on September 11, 2001 and the days that followed.

May the courage they showed continue to inspire us all.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸
