Attention: To all my Rinehart Rottweiler followers, my apologies for not posting or updating in awhile. A LOT has been going on & im going to try to make this as short as possible. I own 3 Rottweilers America(bitch),Missy(bitch),&Remmy(stud).Mossy is kept at my best friends house, because the females didn’t want to play nice together & Remmy takes turns staying at both places depending who’s in heat & when, to prevent any accidental breeding & to assure that the females skip a heat in between litters, as any responsible breeder should do! Last fall(2019) l took Remmy to a farm to breed to a female & upon getting there I usually let him sniff the new territory and use the restroom before introducing him to the female, so that he focuses better & is less distracted. As soon as we got there he ran to a fence and hiked his leg to p*e & p*ed on an electric fence 🤷‍♂️😱! Needless to say that killed his mood and mission was postponed. He limped for a few days but was what seemed back to normal, and just in time because Mossy started her fall heat cycle. At the time my sons football 🏈 team had gone to state and won so or schedule was super busy and I only got to breed them once(I usually like for them to mate 3 times). She filled with milk & acted pregnant but her belly never got big. So I took her in to get an X-ray and there were no puppies 🤷‍♂️. I figured we had missed her heat due to a busy schedule & we would just breed her next year, her last year/litter then she was to be retired. Then early this year America heat cane and she was bred 3 times. She filled with milk and her belly got big & on April 28th at 6:30 I woke to her cleaning a girl puppy. It wasn’t alive & her and I did everything we could to try to change that. I thought maybe it had been stuck over night and was beating myself up about it, because I felt that I may have let her & the puppy down. I keep a note book of all my litters, what time each puppy is born, the s*x,& any important info as in puppy was stuck/ she had a hard time pushing. As a general rule of thumb they should have a puppy ever hour, but it can take a puppy or two before the timing becomes regular and may become more spaced out as she gets more tired from labor. 2 hours passed and no puppy. I checked her but could t fell a puppy stuck, so I called my vet. We both agreed to feed her some vanilla ice cream & take her for a walk & to give it a 1/2 hour. 1/2 hour later still no puppy now we are on our way to the vet. , Oh did I forget to mention that I’m suppose to close and sign on a house at 10a.m.?, that’s just to give you an idea of how the day was going! They did an X-ray and no puppies. I was stumped and the vet and I talked & we agreed to bring Remmy in for a s***m sample. Long story short. Remmy is shooting blanks, & is retired now. America is carrying around a squeaky rubber duck as her puppy and wines every time it squeaks 😞! She is however loving our new place and the bigger yard to run. I know a lot of people were waiting/looking forward to puppies from this litter, as was I, because I was even keeping a puppy for this litter. I had 3 people that had deposits down and had been waiting for puppies and I wanted to reach out to all 3 of them 1st, so that they could hear it from me before reading about it through a post on my page, & that’s why it took so long for me to reply and update my page on what has been going on. I hope you understand & I hope to still be able to provide you all with the Rinehart Rottweiler Experience that I know you would love, it’s just going to take longer than you or I expected. Thank you again for your understanding and patience Sincerely “The Leader Of My Pack” Bartholomew Rinehart
