❤️ A LITTLE MONDAY NIGHT HEART-TO-HEART…
Bear with us for a minute, folks. This is a little more personal than our usual posts, but we feel it’s worth having an honest conversation with our community. Just sharing a little about what’s happening behind the scenes of a small business.
Well, it’s official. A source of supplemental income for our small business is gone.
We understand that the “other side” of our business wasn’t everyone’s vibe, and that’s completely fine! But what many people may not realize is that the supplemental income we had helped us become the business we are today.
We can’t say for certain what this means for future pricing or what changes might be coming down the line. We certainly hope to keep our prices as competitive as possible, but we also have to make sure our business remains sustainable. We still have a mortgage, utilities, and all the other expenses that come along with running a brick-and-mortar business. Losing that supplemental income means we have some figuring out to do.
Our customers benefited from that income through the prices we were able to offer, and our community benefited from the support we were able to provide time and time again. We’ve sponsored local teams, supported events, and done our best to give back whenever we could. We’ve worked hard to build a legitimate small business here in our community, and that additional income helped us do all those things while keeping our overhead manageable.
But if there’s one thing we’ve learned as small-business owners, it’s that EVERYTHING IS FIGUREOUTABLE. 💪🏻
We’re going to adapt, make adjustments where we need to, and keep moving forward.
And to the local organizations, teams, and events that regularly reach out to us for sponsorships and donations, please remember that small businesses have to keep their own doors open, too. We LOVE supporting our community, but our ability to do that depends on our ability to keep our business healthy.
To everyone who shops with us, supports us, recommends us, and continues to choose us: THANK YOU. ❤️ You are the reason we keep pushing forward.
We’ll figure it out. We always do.
And no matter what changes come our way, one thing isn’t changing…
🐍 KEYSTONE COLD-BLOODED WILL STILL BE BEATING THE COMPETITION BY A LONG SHOT. 😈😂
Love you all. Thanks for coming to our TED Talk. ❤️🐍
