As a young foal, my nickname was c***k baby because i had big, gorgeous brown eyes that were slanted. Exotic looking.
At six months old, it came time 4 me to separate from my mother n learn to care for myself. I was taken to my carriers big beautiful barn in Pasco County, Florida. Very lonely day 4 me.
I soon became used to the barn n new schedule. Mr. George had a very kind son who would feed us in the morning, clean our stalls after school n then call us in 4 supper n a brushing.
He would lead us out to pasture in the morning after a good breakfast. It was a slice of heaven to sink my velvet nose into lush, dew covered 4" grass I was learning how to put on a halter, walk calmly n not to start fights. There were a lot.of bigger n stronger horses than I so at first I was scared. But they were all nice to me so felt comfy with them.
My ancestors were all polish racing Arabians so I loved to run flat out with a big heart. Mr. George used to laugh when his son would call us 4 supper. I'd stretch my neck out, run all out, all pistons firing n beat everyone in the pasture. Soon he was calling friends over to watch the little whipper snapper. It was fun. I was very happy to know I was going back home n would see my mama again!
