King's Kennels is located near Saint John's University in beautiful central Minnesota. Established in 1994, owner Paula King started with the idea of running a business out of her home that could involve Paula's passion for dogs while utilizing the land in its rural setting. Naturally, the perfect fit was the idea of a facility for boarding dogs. Since there were few businesses of this type in the area at that time (let alone one run from a facility right next to her house), the answer was simple -- and King's Kennels was born.

Congratulations K-9 Officer Riggs on your retirement… Thank you for your service over the years.. 🙏🏻🐾❤️

Tri-County Humane Society oversaw a special adoption today: K-9 Officer Riggs retired from St. Cloud Police Department. Riggs was briefly turned over to TCHS, then immediately adopted by his partner and handler, Officer Justin Wagman, and his family. Just to be clear, Riggs never left the lobby or the officer’s side. He was always going to go to the officer.

Riggs was specially trained to sniff out explosives. He has been a guest at Woofstock, TCHS' Companion Walk for Animals, to demonstrate his K-9 skills. He's now almost 10 years old!

Congratulations on your retirement, Riggs, and thank you for your service.
