A young man posted side-by-side images showing himself growing up next to the same dogs that have been with him for years.

In the early shots the dogs are energetic and young; in the later ones they are clearly in their senior years, still right there beside him.

The short lifespan of dogs compared to humans never stops being bittersweet.
