Meet Winnie, a 1-year-old Beagle whose life has been completely transformed.

Up until recently, this beautiful little girl’s world was reduced to a number. The tattoo inside her ear marked her time at the Ridglan Farms breeding and research facility, where dogs like her weren’t known by names, only by what they were used for.

Today, Winnie’s story looks very different.

Winnie was adopted through Big Dog Ranch Rescue and found her way into the arms of a loving family who is helping her discover life one beautiful first at a time.

A soft place to lay her head, toys to call her own, fresh water from a bowl, the freedom to explore, and the safety of being loved.

Her story is no longer about where she came from.
It’s about where she’s going, and we are so honored to be a part of her new beginning and to help share her story.
