Almost a year without protection work — and Bellona is back. ❤️🔥
At our seminar with Jaroslav Vnenčák, Bellona worked protection for the first time in almost a year.
And instead of simply picking up where we left off, we decided to go back to the foundation.
Bellona is an experienced dog. She knows the work, she understands what is expected from her, and over the years she has developed a very stable and comfortable way of doing it.
But “comfortable” doesn’t always mean “finished.”
When you are preparing for trials, there is rarely enough time to stop everything and rebuild small details. You work with what you have, polish the exercises, and prepare the dog for the next event.
Now we finally have the time to do something different.
We took the work apart into small pieces and started addressing details that I’ve wanted to improve for a long time.
Sometimes, to move forward, you don’t need to teach more.
You need to go back to the beginning, look at the foundation with fresh eyes, and make it better.
Bellona already knows how to do the job. She has IGP3 with V in Protection.
Now the goal is to see how much better we can make it. 🔥
