Welcome to the farm, Gus! 💙🐾

A little history on this sweet boy… Gus actually completed a training program with me before the farm ever opened and went on to do some pretty great things! So, we already have a relationship and a solid foundation to build from. 🥰

Fast forward a few years, and Gus’s family welcomed a tiny human into their lives. While that was an exciting change for the family, it was a huge change for Gus these past few years. When a dog has been accustomed to being the center of attention and suddenly has to share their people, their space and their routine, it can really throw them for a loop.

Dogs don’t always understand why their world suddenly looks different. Their schedule changes, attention is divided, household noises and movements change, and they may not know what their new role is supposed to be. What can look like stubbornness, jealousy or “acting out” is often a dog struggling to understand and adjust to a completely new normal.

That’s where we come in! 💙

Our goal with Gus is to help him rebuild confidence, learn how to appropriately navigate the changes in his home, and understand that he still has a place in his family, just with some different expectations and boundaries.

We’ll be working on a refresher of his obedience, impulse control, place/settling, respecting space, appropriate interactions, and most importantly, teaching Gus how to calmly coexist with the little human who changed his world.

We’re going to help this handsome guy find his confidence and his role again, because sometimes dogs just need a little guidance when life changes around them.

Welcome back to the farm for round 2, Jasper! 💙🐶

This handsome boy first joined us for private lessons earlier this year, where we focused on puppy behaviors and building a solid foundation. Now he’s back and ready to take that foundation to the next level! 💪🏼

This round, we’ll be incorporating the e-collar to help make his commands super solid and reliable, with the ultimate goal of building a dog who can confidently and safely enjoy more off leash freedom.

And of course, Jasper is your typical happy go lucky Lab! 🥰 He loves people, dogs, treats, and pretty much everything this life has to offer. Basically, he’s just here to have a good time… while we teach him that listening is part of the fun! 😂

Welcome to the farm, Gracie! ♥️🐶🌶️

This little girl is the perfect combination of sweet, spicy and just a little bit of sass! 😂 She may be small, but apparently someone forgot to tell her that her personality is supposed to match her size! 😂 Same girl, same! 💁🏻‍♀️

We will focus on building her obedience foundation, working on impulse control, manners, appropriate interactions, calmness and, most importantly, teaching this little nugget that she does have an off switch. 😉😂

She’s cute, she’s cuddly, she’s spicy, and she’s ready for school!

Welcome to the farm, Comet! ☄️💙🐶

This fluffy guy is one BIG puppy with a personality to match! 😂 His humans knew they wanted to get him started ASAP because he’s growing by the minute, and the sooner we build those good habits, the better!

With Comet, we’ll be focusing on leash manners, basic obedience, off-leash reliability, calmness during interactions, jumping and most importantly installing that off switch!

He’s got the size, the personality and plenty of puppy energy, so now we’re going to help him learn how to channel all of that into being a happy, well-mannered, confident guy. We can’t wait to watch this big fluffy boy grow…literally and figuratively! ☄️🐾💙
