I was honored to host a bouquet-making workshop at the lovely Tri-Township Library last night. It was the last one of the season, so it was very bittersweet knowing that my season is winding down fast. So thankful for the help from Bi-State Blooms getting me to the finish line!

Grateful is an understatement for this group of ladies who were so patient as I talked and talked and talked my little heart out about my life’s journey to get to this point with flowers, a new mission, and a vision of the future with Haystacks of Hope!

Watching each person enjoy these flowers, the good company around them, and marveling at their master creation always fills my bucket of gratitude to the max 🥰

And……the fun doesn’t stop there!

I will be there again next month for the ever popular dried floral pumpkin workshop.

What an honor to be part of the kids activity at the Gateway Fall Market today. We also had a guest appearance from the St. Jacob Homecoming Pageant winners who were a big help! They were able to showcase their care, charisma, and charm as they helped each kid make the most beautiful bouquet. My heart is full ♥️

Quick update

I will not be at the Jarvis Square Market tonight but if you still need a flower fix, don’t forget about Berries and Blooms a few tents down, she will have some beautiful flowers available.

I will be at the Gateway Fall Market this Saturday from 9-3 at the Gateway Convention Center! I will have a table full of flowers from my farm and my collective, Bi-State Blooms available for purchase; this has also given me an opportunity to pull out my crafty side….pictures to come.
I am running a free kids activity (build a bouquet) from 11-1 or while supplies last. Feel free to stop by and say hi ♥️

What a full circle moment 🥰

How appropriate that the very seeds that were started by these classrooms earlier this year will now be bringing many smiles throughout their community

This initiative checks all the boxes! We would love your support in launching Flowers Paid Forward as we move into the final stretch of summer and into the early parts of fall. We believe in the power of our local communities and can’t wait to join forces as we give back, together!

Many of the flowers we will use for this project were planted by individuals within our local school districts’ special education programs during our Classroom Seed Planting initiative this spring. How fitting that the seeds that were sown (quite literally) by these amazing students have grown into a harvest that can share some love and appreciation for adults that have dedicated their lives and careers to making the world a better place for them.

Well apparently it is the year of the Lily 😍

First it was the Calla Lily, then it was the Pineapple Lily…….and now……..
It’s the Spider Lily!

I swear I blinked and this thing shot up a foot and bloomed. What a lovely surprise and now I am officially hooked on weird and wonderful lillies, and I kinda think you should be too ♥️

This flower comes on strong and fast and leave just as fast! Don’t waste this opportunity to enjoy a flower that will last upwards of two weeks in a vase if cared for properly, which only consists of changing the water often and recutting the stems halfway through 🥰

When Roxana Public Library District contacted me to be a guest at one of their monthly “Pinterest Parties”….I jumped at the opportunity!! How fun ♥️

These ladies created the most gorgeous arrangements 😍😍😍😍😍 I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend a Tuesday!

Libraries everywhere take note!
….you should start having monthly Pinterest themed parties too ☺️
