🥰🥰A beautiful example of business and community supporting each other 🥰🥰

This Thursday at Jarvis Square Market x Maryville Farmers Market in Troy, Illinois is a special one!
We have the honor of hosting Jessica Harrison-Wilkins: Allstate Insurance staff at our tent to help promote our non-profit organization, Haystacks of Hope ♥️

Last Fall, I hosted a dried floral pumpkin workshop at Wine For The Win and met Jessica Harrison-Wilkins. She told me that her Allstate office offers grant opportunities to non-profit organizations like ours. When the time came, she reached back out and helped us apply for the grant and GUESS WHAT?! We were approved ! This is our first ever grant which makes it extra special!!!

So come on out to the market this Thursday, grab yourself a bouquet and say hi to our Allstate staff who will be handing out flyers, taking donations for Haystacks, and helping little kids make their very own mini bouquet.

The start of this flower season has been the best ever!
Hard work through the winter has paid off for early season beauties! It has also been non-stop to make sure summer and fall are just as good! ♥️

Forever swooning over these flowers! What a power packed group of beauties….Ranunculus, Peonies, Delphinium. Next up Campanula, Stock, Larkspur and Snapdragons. Bells of Ireland right around the corner. Yes. The answer is yes…..totally worth the effort of babying these beauties all winter to end up with these results 🥰

Loved having my garden helper this week and apparently the cat likes to “smell” the flowers 🤷‍♀️

Hold on. STOP. “Don’t get your Peonies in a bunch”….I will have enough for everyone 😂

Remember 3 years ago when I told you a major investment had been made?? One where I would have to resist cutting on it until year 3 😱….plucking EVERY bud that formed so that it could establish a good root system. GUESS WHAT FOLKS?
It’s time to start harvesting!!!!!!!

I’m embarrassed to admit that I misplaced my roadmap of what got planted where. So this is also a year of re-identifying them as they bloom 🤦🏼‍♀️

Gotta laugh about it…….because as methodical as I try to be, there are always humbling instances like this one that allow me to go easy on myself…lots of moving parts….constantly…..I can only do so much, right?!
