Arkansas State Universityโs College of Veterinary Medicine is excited to begin recruiting its first class for this fall after receiving official clearance from the American Veterinary Medical Associationโs Council on Education.
โWe are thrilled to have received our Letter of Reasonable Assurance, which allows us to begin recruiting and admitting students for entry this fall,โ said Dr. Heidi Banse, dean of the CVM.
โThis is a historic achievement for Arkansas State University and for the state of Arkansas,โ said Chancellor Todd Shields. โOur College of Veterinary Medicine will open new doors for students while strengthening the future of animal health, agriculture, and rural communities across the Mid-South.โ
As the first College of Veterinary Medicine in Arkansas, this is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for students passionate about animal care and rural impact.
