Join us for our Paws & Pumpkins celebration, which will be Tuesday (Oct. 13) from 4-6 p.m. in Tri-County Humane Society's front parking lot. Friendly, leashed pups are welcome!
There will be so much fall fun going on, including:
* For sale, there will be yummy treats for the pups from Happy Paws Bakery and delicious desserts for their humans from Ahta Cakes
* Oh FUR Cute Mobile Pet Grooming will be offering $10 nail trims, a portion of which will go to TCHS
* Wags On Wheels Mobile Dog Grooming will be doing pet-safe "doggie tattoos" - stencils for pups' booties
* We'll have a doggie costume contest sponsored by Kloster Collateral Resources at 5 p.m. - winner gets $50!
* We'll have a FREE microchip clinic thanks to St.Cloud Subaru And Used Car Outlet and the ASPCA as part of Subaru Loves Pets! We'll also be giving away ID tags, leashes, and collars as supplies last.
* We'll have a fall-themed, outdoor photo booth
And last, but not least, we'll be showcasing ways to get involved with TCHS, including our volunteer, foster, and donor opportunities! We also invite attendees to "stuff a Subaru" - please fill with items from our wish list that we can use in our shelter or share with our Pet Food Pantry!

TCHS is at 735 8th St. NE in St. Cloud, MN

It’s time for , when we highlight one of our hardworking volunteers and/or fosters. Today we put the spotlight on Anna Lack, who has been volunteering with Tri-County Humane Society since April 2025. She mainly helps in the cat room, assisting customers and making sure the cats are clean and happy. We’re happy she’s here, too – and so are the cats! Let’s hear from Anna:

What’s your favorite thing about volunteering? “Being helpful, whether it be to the animals to the people who come in looking to adopt.”

What would you tell people who are thinking about volunteering? “Do it! I have had to overcome a lot of hurdles to become a volunteer, and the rewards have been tenfold.”

What's your favorite animal (it doesn't have to be domestic)? “This is hard to answer as I'm an animal lover. I think my favorite animal are the sick or unwanted ones. I love to nurture, that's when my heart is happiest.”

Tri-County Humane Society will have a FREE microchip clinic during our Paws & Pumpkins event, which is Tuesday (Oct. 13) from 4-6 p.m. at TCHS.

We want to thank St.Cloud Subaru And Used Car Outlet and the ASPCA for making the free microchip clinic possible. Microchips are the only permanent form of pet identification. This is a walk-in-only clinic, and we'll also be giving away leashes, collars, and ID tags while supplies last.

Thank you, Subaru and ASPCA!

Meet Crawly!

This 7-month-old neutered mixed breed pup is a lovable, big-hearted boy. He is the kind of dog who may take a little while to decide that you are one of his people, but once he does, he will be such an affectionate pup!

Because Crawly’s history is largely unknown, he will do best with a thoughtful approach as he settles into new situations.

Meet him at Tri-County Humane Society!

Bogo isn't sure he's ready for the day yet.

This 1-year-old neutered cat has been described as curious and outgoing. He did well with cats in his previous home.

Bogo wants to-go - to a new home! Meet him at Tri-County Humane Society.

It's , and we have a big foster need: Fosters who would be willing to take on mom dogs and their puppies! Jovee (the mom) and her puppies are staying at the shelter because we can't find a foster! They're doing just fine, but we'd much rather they be in a home. We bet they feel the same.

For fosters, Tri-County Humane Society provides the food, supplies, and medical care; the fosters provide the home and the love. Apply to foster at the link below or pick up a paper application at our shelter.

P.S. The puppies are fine; they're just deep sleepers.

It's Dos' lucky day - this long-stay TCHS dog got to go to a foster home! We are so grateful for all our fosters who give our pups a break from the shelter.

And Dos is far from the only TCHS dog who'd love time away from a kennel. Please consider signing up to foster an adult dog - even a weekend away from the shelter can help a pup decompress and become less stressed (and more adoptable) upon their return to TCHS.

Pick up a paper application at the shelter or apply online at the link below!
