Veterinary Alternative Therapy, with Dr. Jody Oelschlager, is promoting pet health and disease prevention through natural and alternative medical options. Our goal is to provide pet owners with unique options to improve success in maximizing animal health and well being. We are not a substitute for general veterinary medicine; we are an extension into advanced healing therapies including acupuncture, herbal medicine, laser, hydrotherapy, pulsed signal, ultrasound and electrostimulation, allergy evaluation and immune therapy, food therapy and dietary consultation, obesity management, metabolic management, arthritis and pain management, and more…

Dr. Oelschlager has 27 years of experience in veterinary medicine with her DVM degree from Ohio State University and Certification in Veterinary Acupuncture with IVAS. She trained at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in Canine Rehabilitation. Call us to find out how we can help your pet stay healthy or return to health more quickly through Veterinary Alternative Therapy.

💦 We want Ruby to practice walking straight, to train her brain and muscles to perform correctly. So we keep a light hand on her harness most of the time. But we also have to let go a little bit so she can practice correcting her mistakes and get stronger in preparation for ultimately walking without water. 💦
