Hootie's Rescue Haven is a 501C3 tax exempt, no kill animal rescue organization. We rescue animals, tend to medical needs, and find them forever homes.

Hootie's Rescue Haven is named after a golden retriever/afghan mix who was rescued when she was 6 months old. She was loyal, loving, beautiful, had quite an extensive tennis ball collection and had a very quirky sense of humor. She brought joy to peoples' lives until she left us, just 2 weeks shy of her 17th birthday. This organization is guided by her bright spirit.

Just as a reminder of how much your support impacts lives, here are some of the pets from this year who have made it to Hootie’s, gotten veterinary care, food, and shelter, and have been adopted by loving, forever families.

Please consider reserving a table for Saturday night’s trivia fundraiser; as always, all of the money raised goes to the animals, and your friendship and “being there” with us are truly appreciated!

I was going to take pictures of a few of the baskets, but I couldn't decide which ones! Here are just some of the baskets that will be waiting for you at this weekend's trivia fundraiser. Baskets from so many generous businesses: Cherokee Street Ceramics, Songbird, Total W**e & More, Hermanhill Bed and Breakfast, The Olive Branch, Downtown Deli & Custard Shoppe, Massage for Your Health, Pet Supplies +, Norton's Fine Art and Framing, Crafted, Creve Coeur Lake House, Texas Roadhouse, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Good News & Get Well Family Health and Chiropractic.

You could find something for everyone on your holiday gift list in 1 night! Home decor, StL Blues Tickets, a night of psychic fun, Lottery Scratchers, W**e Class, Getaway to Hermann Missouri, pet beds, comfy throws, cardinals merchandise, tickets to the Fabulous Fox... and the goodies keep coming.

If you have not reserved your table, you still have time. It is $200 for a table of 10. You can venmo to hootiesrescue-haven or go to our website Hootiesrescue.org and hit the donate button to pay with paypal. We will have nachos, popcorn, water and soda. Various beers will be on sale for $3 a bottle/can.

Another successful golf tournament to benefit Hootie’s Rescue Haven is in the books!

On behalf of the animals, we’d like to offer our thanks, first of all to Russ for making it happen and bringing all of the pieces together.
We also thank Sugar Creek Golf Course for allowing us to rent the course and for being so helpful and accommodating.
Every single golfer is greatly appreciated more than we can say for showing up to play and support the Hootie’s animals.

Special thanks also go to volunteers Stephanie and Jane for supervising the hole in one hole (maybe next year we’ll have one 🤞), Brenda and Jennifer for running the dice game, Leslie for managing the bar, and to Bill and Dan for manning the grill under some difficult circumstances.

It was a beautiful day; the weather was perfect!
It was also a beautiful day because so many different people came together and contributed to Hootie’s Rescue Haven’s goal of saving as many animals as possible.
