This horse y'all gave us his everything this week. He started off by picking up a wire in his frog last Sunday. We've spent all week getting him sound enough to show under saddle. Thank heavens for a great show farrier and an owner that said do what you need to Lindsay. We're ending the week with 3 Congress Championships and one reserve as well as overall reserve champion open halter gelding. Halter horses can ride! Love me some Andy! Congratulations Jan and thank you for trusting me with your boy.

Apparently the photographer liked us today! Even though I don't look happy I was 🤣😬 Guess I need to work on my RBF. In all fairness that is while we arw waiting because someone pulled the fire alarm and I was annoyed.

Congratulations Jan Thompson and A Smokin Kid on winning performance halter this morning at the color breed congress and 2 reserve grand championships losing the tie breaker for overall reserve. I also won the open and was reserve overall grand champion in the Open with 3 reserves What a great morning getting Jan out of her comfort zone! Onto HUS the next 2 days!

What a long but fun day at Color Breed Congress. Finished the day with winning weanling fillies for Sharon Marshall with her beautiful filly whoops upped the ante. This filly was raised by Sherry-Buzz Melver. Win photo to come soon! This is a filly that excites me and will be so much fun as a yearling! No one should ever have to show babies at 8pm but she was a trooper. Thanks to the judges who recognized her for what she is this week! She was also 4th in the go for the gold open and non pro futurity.

She did it! Reserve world champion! Great job Jan Thompson!!! Bred by Marv and pearl wieneke. Finally a moment to finish typing! Jan was told by her doctors she would not be able to ride this summer due to a pinched nerve. Some days her legs work and some days they don't. Her boy Amdy is the kindest soul and so patient. He by far was not the most broke horse in the pen but he gave jan great rides. With more miles under his belt by next year they will be a hard team to beat! Thank you for trusting me with your boy. Dare I say outloud I bought a new hunt coat. Ones like him make it fun!

Execucajun is back in Iowa for good! We will honor all rebreeds and want to get some great mares in foal to him. His mind is just the best! He hasn't had a saddle on his back in 3 years and with maybe 5 minutes of lounging he rides off! Love him so much! Thanks Ken Berry and Beth Long Merritt for this exciting new partnership on Luther! We all know how much I love this boy! Thank you to everyone who has taken such good care of him these last few years
