That time of year! We are completely done with all taxidermy so we are ready.
Youth parents call me as soon as possible gonna be warm out. Needs to come to me right away or put in a deep freeze.
Please do your best to keep the cape as clean as possible. Place a handful of paper towels on the neck meat after cutting to keep the jugulars from bleeding all down the skin side . It helps.
Thanks and good luck!

Anyone close to me have a full body doe they would be willing to put on loan for a short while in October? It is needed for a movie being filmed near winterset.

The largest net scoring typical I've had in my shop was the Fountain buck that scored 191 3/8 and tied the state record muzzle loader has been beat. This typical 10 nets a whopping 195 0/8. And grossed 202 4/8.
Largest typical for both Canada and the USA for 2025. If it was taken with a muzzloader it would have been a world record!! It makes #8 all time Iowa and is only a 10.
Probably will never see a bigger one in my shop.
