We offer lessons, training, leasing and sales year round in our beautiful, large facility in St. Charles, Illinois. We cater to all ages and experience levels!

Our top notch trainers can help you reach your goals, or help you find your new partner!

Do you want riding lessons for FREE??? Yes, you heard that right, free! We are currently in search on VOLUNTEERS to help out with barn chores in exchange for free or discounted lessons! Chores are typically from 7am to 11am, and they involve feeding the horses, turning them out, cleaning stalls, sweeping barns, and watering. It is hard work but it is very rewarding, good exercise, and you get to hang out with these beautiful animals all morning long! We are flexible to work with your schedule, as we are currently looking for volunteers multiple days of the week. We will discuss the exchange rate for lessons with each individual based on their availability- typically one day of chores will equate to one free lesson! Send us a message today for more information if you are interested in joining our team!

Immediate available stall openings for boarding! Limited availability.

Over the Top Equine is a privately owned and operated boarding/training facility. We are located in St. Charles, on the corner of Randall rd and Crane rd!

Owners/ trainer lives on property; drama free, huge indoor and outdoor arena, large stalls, spacious tack room, and heated indoor wash rack.

Full service boarding includes: hay, grain (original smart choice) 2x daily, stall cleaning 7 days a week, and daily turn out (on grass weather permitting, dry lots when wet). $650.00 a month.

What a great weekend for the Over the Top Equine riders at the April Revolution show! All of the riders have been working hard, and it showed this weekend. Congratulations to everyone on a great weekend!

We welcomed along two new riders with us this weekend: Natasha and Leah, you both did fantastic!

This week for our jumping lessons we worked on grids! Grids consist of a series of jumps in a row to help riders work on their form and position by jumping multiple times in a row down a line. We have multiple levels of riders jumping the grid, from beginner cross poles all the way up to advanced riders.

This is our new and yet unnamed mare. She is 14.2 hands high, very nervous to be in a new home but very sweet, and seems to be warming up to us very well. Before she came to us she was living in a horse rescue, she is also pregnant and will be due this spring! Today’s feature is on our lesson horse Blue! He is 10 years old and his prior “career” before coming to us was as a trail horse. He has jumped 3’6” so far, and has the potential to go higher! He loves jumping, but dislikes working hard- he loves getting treats and hanging out with his girlfriend and pasture mate Stella the most. His favorite treat is anything you give him, but he particularly loves eating Twizzlers. His unique coloring is considered a Blanketed Appaloosa Blue Roan, which is also the reasoning for his name! Welcome to our new facilities! Here in St Charles on the corner of Crane Rd and Randall Rd we offer boarding, leasing, and lessons! Come meet our horses or send us a message for more information.

We have trainers who teach every day of the week, all the way from beginner to advanced, dressage to jumping, and everything in between. We are SO excited to settle in to our beautiful new space and we would love an opportunity to share it with you as well!

Over the Top Equine offers English horseback riding from learning how to steer a horse to a full Hunter/Jumper training program for anyone wanting to compete in a wide range of shows including the following: ISC, NIHJA, Mini Events, and A shows. All levels of riders, including children, are welcome in our programs which are custom made to suit each rider's individual goals with a focus on safety for both rider and horse. Lessons are formatted in a stair-step format that crosses over into every discipline. Lessons are available depending on your needs and schedule. - We are also available for clients looking to trailer in or feel more comfortable at their own barn (fees may be adjusted to accommodate transportation to your location).

How is our riding school different than other facilities?

- Cross Training: Hunter/Jumper training with dressage work to increase flexibility, balance, and strength in order to perform past all expectations in the show ring.

- Lesson horses that are ridden consistently by the trainer
