At Smart Paws Resort & Training, we believe every dog deserves the perfect balance of love, structure, and fun. Augustine, we’re more than just a boarding and training facility—we’re your dog’s second home.

Boarding & Daycare: Comfortable indoor and indoor/outdoor suites designed for safety, relaxation, and enrichment. Training: From puppy basics to advanced obedience, our trainers customize each program to help dogs (and their families) thrive. Johns County for one-on-one in-home sessions. Specialty Training: Scent work, advanced obedience, and unique seminars with expert trainers—covering Flyball, protection work, and more. Grooming & Spa: Full-service grooming to keep pups looking and feeling their best. Retail Shop: Premium food, collars, leashes, and gear selected for quality and performance.

🐾 FOSTER HOMES NEEDED! 🐾❤️

These two sweet German Shepherd puppies are looking for someone willing to give them the love, patience, and consistency they deserve!

At just 7–8 months old, these pups have already had a rough start. They came to us as owner surrenders after experiencing neglect, and while they have a lot of catching up to do, they are incredibly sweet dogs with so much potential. ❤️

They need socialization, exposure to new experiences, structure, and consistency to help them build confidence and learn how to just be dogs!

Our hope is to find them loving foster homes rather than having to place them with a rescue. We want them to experience what it’s like to be part of a family, have a routine, and learn all those everyday things that help turn puppies into happy, well-adjusted companions.

They don’t need perfect homes. They need patient, committed people willing to give them a chance. 🐶❤️

🚒🐾 National Fire Pup Day meets National Black Dog Day! 🖤

We took our very own black Standard Poodle, Billy, down to Station 12 to help us celebrate two pretty special days!

Firehouse dogs have a long history alongside firefighters. Dalmatians became known as firehouse dogs because of their ability to run alongside horse-drawn fire carriages, helping clear the way and staying with the horses while crews fought fires. Over time, they became a beloved symbol of the fire service—and we think that history deserves a day of recognition! 🚒🐾

Billy may not be a firehouse dog, but he was happy to stop by and help us celebrate their legacy while representing all the beautiful black dogs out there! 🖤🐩

A huge thank you to the crew at Station 12 for welcoming Billy and for everything you do for our community!

We’re celebrating National Walk Your Dog Week, October 1–7, with a little friendly competition! 🐕🚶

Send us a video of you and your dog showing off your loose leash walking skills! Get creative, have fun with it, and most importantly, enjoy some time with your dog! 🐾

Each day, we’ll share challenge videos and let YOU vote for your favorite! 🏆

When your dog comes back to stay with us while you’re out of town, they get a training refresh during their boarding stay!

Cora is back with us for boarding and refreshing all of her basic obedience commands while she’s here—keeping those skills sharp and reinforcing everything she learned during her Board & Train. 💪🐶

Training doesn’t end at graduation, and neither does our support! ❤️
