HAPPY VET TECH APPRECIATION WEEK FROM DRIFTWOOD VETERINARY HOSPITAL! 💚🐾

This week, we’re celebrating the amazing veterinary technicians who work tirelessly behind the scenes and by your pet’s side every single day! 🐶🐱

Our vet techs are the compassionate hands that comfort your pets when they’re scared, the caring hearts that stay with them through difficult moments, and the dedicated team members who help keep your furry family members healthy and happy. From assisting with treatments and monitoring anesthesia to providing extra cuddles, reassurance, and love, they truly do it all!

Veterinary medicine takes a special kind of heart, patience, strength, and dedication, and we are so thankful for the incredible techs who give so much of themselves to care for your beloved pets. ❤️

CLIENTS, HELP US SHOW OUR TECHS SOME LOVE THIS WEEK! 🥰

Whether it’s a heartfelt thank-you, a kind review, a sweet note, or simply letting them know how much you appreciate them, every little bit means so much!

The next time you visit Driftwood Veterinary Hospital, take a moment to thank a vet tech. They work hard every day to make sure your pets receive the care, comfort, and compassion they deserve.

To our amazing vet techs: we see you, we appreciate you, and we couldn’t do it without you! 💚

With love and appreciation,
Your Driftwood Veterinary Hospital Family 🐾

Please stay alert for any oddly behaving wildlife! If you see a bat on the ground DO NOT ATTEMPT to pick it up! Call your local animal control for assistance. Please make sure your pets are up to date on their rabies vaccines, and as always call us if you have any questions ❤️

POV: you have no idea why everyone keeps calling it the “cone of shame” when you’re clearly the cutest patient in the building 😂🐶

But for real, the cone has an important job! It helps keep pets from licking, chewing, or messing with their incision/wound while they heal. We know they give you those sad eyes and act like their whole life is ruined 😂 but keeping the cone on can help prevent infection and delayed healing!

He may not be happy about it… but he’s still pretty cute in it 🥹🐾💙 ❤️

Super cute puppy!! Not-so-cute passengers. 🦠🔬

Coccidia and roundworms are common intestinal parasites, especially in young pets — and you may not know they’re there just by looking at your pet.

That’s why routine f***l testing matters! 🐶💩

Protect your pets by keeping up with f***l exams and veterinarian-recommended parasite prevention. Schedule with us today ❤️
