Notice to Clients – Holiday Office Closure

Veterinary Orthopaedic and Mobility Center Closure, 6/29/2026 to 7/5/2026.

Dear VOMC Family,

Please be advised that we will be closed from Monday, June 29th, through July 5th, 2026, while Dr. Erne and Dr. Nicole are taking a hard-earned vacation!

We will resume normal business hours on Monday, July 6th, 2026, at 8:00 A.M.

To ensure your pet receives care while we are away, please see the important details below:

Urgent & Emergency Care: For any medical emergencies, please contact your primary veterinarian or one of the following hospitals:

Prescription Refills: Please submit any urgent requests to us by Thursday, June 25th, 2026, by 5 P.M. We cannot refill prescriptions while closed.

Non-Urgent Inquiries: For routine appointment requests or questions, please email us at [email protected]. We will have an answering service available from 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., Monday, June 29th, Tuesday, June 30th, and Wednesday, July 1st, 2026.

For all other inquiries, please email or call us, and we will be in touch at our earliest convenience.

🎄❤️ A Christmas Thank You That Deserves a Spotlight ❤️🎄

This holiday season, we want to send the biggest, most heartfelt thank you to Brie and Jake — two truly incredible humans who once again chose our rescue for their Christmas donation.

Through our volunteer- Brie and Jake learned about our work, and year after year they continue to show up in ways that leave us speechless. This Christmas, they didn’t just donate — they mobilized an entire community. They went to friends, family, and everyone they know, shared our mission, and collected donations on behalf of the cats.

And when they arrived… EVERYTHING in this photo was donated by them and the people they rallied.
To put it into perspective: our front room was completely empty before they walked through the door.

What they filled it with:
✨ Towels, sheets, blankets, beds
✨ Food and essential supplies
✨ FIVE brand new stainless steel water fountains
✨ TWO incubators for our most fragile kittens
✨ And so many additional items that will immediately and directly save lives

This wasn’t “just” a donation. This was compassion in action. Advocacy. Love. Impact.

Brie and Jake, thank you for believing in our mission, for using your voices to amplify ours, and for choosing the cats when it mattered most. Because of you — and every person you inspired to give — countless cats and kittens will be warmer, safer, and healthier this holiday season. 🐾💕

***Announcement!*** Good morning VOMC Family! It's Turkey week! A time for family, fun and giving thanks. One of our nurses here at VOMC is running a donation drive for several local animal rescues (S.A.F.E, Community Cats of Palm Coast and S.M.A.R.T) and needs your help! We have drop off donation boxes here at the hospital OR she is willing to pick up for those in the nearby area. If you have questions, please either comment here or send a PM and she'd be happy to speak with you! Flyer information bellow:

Christmas is about giving, helping those less fortunate and making special memories along the way. Our Rehab Lead Bryanna is collecting donations for S.M.A.R.T, Community Cats of Palm Coast and S.A.F.E.

Item ideas for donation:
• Food (canine/feline, wet or dry)
• Bedding (dog beds, blankets and sheets)
• Towels, rags and washcloths
• Laundry detergent, bleach, dawn, etc.
• Cat litter
• Toys
• Collars and leashes

Help me help our four-legged friends in our community who aren’t spending Christmas with a loving family. Merry Dog-mas and a Howling New Year!!
