Well… we are surviving mastitis.
Ivanka is doing great .
The wound is healing beautifully and she’s obsessed with her baby.
This is a baby boy. He’s very light , but, I do think he may have some color development in the next couple weeks.

Wellllllll….
Drama in the cattery….
Evanka got mastitis 🫩. We weren’t sure what was going on at first .
It’s bad.
She almost died. Her tiny little runt didn’t make it either.
She’s on antibiotics and wound care.
I had to give her kittens to other mamas to nurse and I’m bottle feeding as well.
Lucy took in one. He’s doing great! She has six of her own , so I didn’t want to overwhelm her.
Daisy’s kittens have an eye infection…
Ella’s kittens went home this week, but! She did end up adopting four of Evanka’s kittens.
Evanka is doing great. Recovering beautifully .
Yesterday my husband send me this video- she’s nursing Ocie’s baby! lol
This child loves her so much, always with her , comforting her , liking her, and now nursing on her!
I don’t intend to reunite her kittens with her because of the open wound .
But, we’ll see how it goes.
