Everyone please welcome Murphy to the Shadow Dog Training crew!! Murphy’s owners recently purchased the Puppy’s First Year Package and have already enjoyed a private lesson, and an Adventure Day. He is now here for the two-week board & train portion of the package and is settling in so well!

Day 1 we got up bright and early for some training and exposure to the real world. When we got home we worked on some grooming exercises, because this fluff ball is going to need grooming every month for the rest of his life! He has also been learning how to relax in the house without finding trouble for himself. But don’t worry, he’s had PLENTY of playtime and spoiling too!

I’m so glad his owners have been taking all the steps to make sure he becomes a well adjusted, confident adult with the skills every good dog should have. I can’t wait to see how this sweet boy does 🐾🦴

If you missed out on that one, I do have 1 spot available for tomorrow’s Adventure Day! Available for a dog up to 50 pounds. PM me ASAP to hold your spot 🐾

Hey guys! Surgery went well, so I’m hoping to be back to work as quickly as possible. Thank you to everyone who wished me well!

On a side note, I have an important announcement to make. I didn’t have much time to consider names and slogans when I first started the business, so Moffit Menagerie Pet Services was named on a whim. I’ve had people mention to me that it’s a bit of a mouthful, might be hard for some people to spell, or that they didn’t know what a menagerie even was 😅

So, I’m gonna switch things up a bit and keep things simple. Within a month or two, Moffit Menagerie Pet Services will become Shadow Dog Training. My very first dog as a child was named Shadow, and let’s face it, I always have a four-legged shadow following me around, so I felt like it fit. I’m also hoping the name will make it easier for dog training clients to find me! (Don’t worry, I’ll still be offering pet sitting services for the foreseeable future)

The logo is also getting changed! I’m still playing around with the fonts, but this one is the latest adaptation. The silhouette in the middle is of me and Nera 🥹 I felt like that reflected the shadow theme pretty well 🖤 Let me know if you have any thoughts about font type, size, color, etc!

As I said, it will be a month or two before I fully switch to the new name and logo, but I wanted to give everyone a heads up in advance so you all knew it’s still me! I appreciate everyone’s feedback and support more than you know!
