🐾 Double the fluff, double the trouble! 🤍🐶

These two adorable Samoyed siblings stopped by Animal Alley earlier this week and had us completely smitten! 🥹✨ We’re pretty sure there’s no such thing as too much puppy fluff! ☁️🐾

😴 In true Olaf fashion, he slept right through the first day of National Happy Cat Month! 😂🐱

But even though our clinic cat may consider sleeping his favorite form of enrichment, September is the perfect time to make sure all our feline friends are living their happiest, healthiest lives! 💙

According to the AAHA guide, keeping an indoor cat happy goes beyond food and a cozy bed. Try adding a little extra enrichment to their everyday lives:

🐾 Give them places to climb — cat trees, shelves, or other safe elevated spaces let them satisfy their natural curiosity.
🎣 Make time for play — interactive toys, wand toys, and games that mimic hunting help keep their bodies and brains active.
🪟 Create a window-watching station — a comfy perch with a view of the outside world can provide hours of entertainment!
😼 Offer scratching options — provide different types of scratching posts or pads so they can stretch, scratch, and mark their territory appropriately.
📦 Give them a safe place to hide — sometimes happiness is simply having a quiet spot to disappear into… preferably a cardboard box. 😉
❤️ Don’t forget their health! Regular veterinary visits, dental care, parasite prevention, and maintaining a healthy weight are all important parts of keeping your kitty feeling their best.

And as Olaf clearly demonstrates, quality nap time is important too. 😂💤

This adorable 10-week-old Basset Hound made his first visit to Animal Alley, and we’re pretty sure he stole a few hearts along the way! 🥹

With those extra-long ears, bright puppy eyes, and the sweetest personality, Fred is already a total charmer. Those ears deserve their own fan club! 👂🐶💕

If sunshine could take human form, it would be Libby! ☀️💛 She brings the brightest energy into the clinic every single day, always showing up with a great attitude, a smile on her face, and a willingness to jump in wherever she’s needed.

Libby started her Animal Alley journey as a kennel aide and has absolutely thrived in her new role as a Veterinary Assistant! 🐾 Her growth, dedication, and eagerness to learn have been so much fun to watch—and we couldn’t be more proud of how far she’s come!

How well does Dr. VanDaele really know his staff? 🤔 We put him to the test! 😂

One by one, we called his name from behind the camera, and he had to recognize us without seeing who was talking. 👀🎤

Let’s just say… all those years of working together have paid off! 🥹❤️ He knew his team’s voices like a true pro! 👏

After all, when you spend this much time together, your coworkers start to feel a lot more like family. ❤️🐾 And apparently, family comes with some very recognizable voices! 😂
