Bandit is a male GSDx who is approximately 6 months old. He is up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped and on flea/hw prevention. Bandit came to rescue after being found in a ditch with his siblings (Mitzie and Patches) and were taken to the shelter where an urgent plea was made for rescue ♥

Bandit is crate-trained, well on his way to being housebroken and loves to romp and play. Bandit loves treats and LOVES to be near his people. We do not know if Bandit has ever met a cat, though he has not exhibited a high prey drive. He loves to play with large jollyballs and will carry it all around the yard - a prized possession!

Bandit has been introduced to other puppies his age and has exhibited the ability to get along with other dogs. This boy is sweet, loving and ready for his furever home!

I am a spayed female GSDx who is about 50 pounds (making me a micro-pop for those small car people) of a girl. I am approximately 1.5 years old. I am crate-trained.

I didn't get at great start as I was discovered in a ditch when I was 4 weeks old with several others. I am up-to-date on vaccines and am heartworm negative (on prevention).

I walk on a leash, but I still need help with this. I am a little shy at first and then I come out of my shell pretty quickly! I am a happy go-lucky girl who is looking for a home to love me. I have exhibited the ability to get along with other medium to large dogs. I have never met a cat.

If you are interested or know someone who is interested in adopting Mitzie, please contact me or Shepherds Without Borders Rescue.

Linden, Olive & Oakley are 14-month-old Doberman/Malinois mix. They warm up quickly and are super friendly to everyone they meet. Love to be out running and exploring, knows their name and has excellent recall. Currently resides with other dogs and with proper introductions have done well with all. They do have medium prey drive, a home without cats may be best.

They are potty trained, crate trained, rides well crated in the car, spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations and are well-mannered at the vet’s office. Prefers to be with their person or dog friends. They need a dedicated handler to ensure they have the structure and training needed for continued success. Motivated most by food/praise and requires moderate correction to redirect unwanted behaviors. Fine around kids of all ages, incredibly easy to train, and a joy to be around.

An ideal home is with a moderately active family – someone who wants to include them in adventures and continue her training and is a wonderful, sweet companion. They truly want a family to call their own – is that you?

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted on this page. It’s been a rough year since Simon passed. In an effort to move on, I’ve spent the morning working with not only my 3 but 2 fosters. I will say that I feel much better now that I’ve made the time to train. Every day I struggle to find the time and have kicked myself as I’m failing my dogs.

But after training this morning all dogs are chilling, well actually sleep. No barking or spinning. Feels great to have accomplished something.

So my plan is to keep on this path into the new year.

This is Toby. After fostering him for 8 months through bilateral elbow surgery, recovery and rehabilitation he was adopted by a great family. I wish them all the best. I will miss the "Moose".

This is Ziggy. His family is going through some difficulties, so I'm keeping him until they can arrange transport to family in Texas. He's a great dog. Always great that we can help someone in need. Thanks to 4rFriends for helping with vaccinations and getting him neutered.

Its always amazing that after years of training dogs that as Jack Fields would say "you learn something from each dog you train". This is Nike, rescue slated to be euthanized at shelter. Do I know why, absolutely. Dont let his cuteness fool you, he is a handful. i just completed a class at Tug Dogs and as Erin would say model the behavior you want and NILIF (nothing in life is free). No engagement, as far as Nike was concerned i was just there to bounce off of and drop food in his bowl. Its amazing whats happens when you have to work for it. Will keep you updated on his progress.

Haven't posted in awhile. Busy with volunteering with rescue so business has taken a sideline for a bit while I reengineer myself. Stay tuned.
