👑 Dashing Duke A828030 — A Noble Soul Seeking His Kingdom! 👑

Duke is a 6‑year‑old tan and black male German Shepherd/Akita mix who has grown weary of kennel life and longs for a peaceful kingdom of his own! He arrived with a microchip, yet no one came forward to reclaim him, leaving this dignified gentleman confused and increasingly stressed in the shelter environment. This noble boy met a few dogs early on, but he didn’t appear social and would do best ruling his home as the only canine. As his frustration has grown, Duke has become extremely reactive on leash when he sees other dogs, living in a constant state of adrenaline that no royal deserves. Despite his stress, Duke still shows flashes of his gentle courtly charm. He knows “sit” and “paw,” loves treats, and absolutely adores pupsicles. He enjoys sitting close to his people, soaking up affection like a loyal knight devoted to his trusted inner circle. What Duke needs now is a calm, structured castle where he can decompress, regain his confidence, and rediscover the steady, loving nature beneath all that tension. With stability, patience, and a quiet place to rest his crown, this dashing Duke can finally reclaim his throne. This royal gentleman is ready to leave the chaos of the kennel behind and step into the peaceful kingdom he deserves.

Mamas is a 5‑year‑old white and tan pittie mix who’s been patiently hoping for her chance at a cozy, loving home. She came to us after being abandoned and brought in by animal service officers, and despite a rough bout of kennel cough, this gentle girl is finally feeling better and showing her true sugary‑sweet self. She’s an easy walker, keeps her kennel tidy, and may already have some potty training on board. Mamas absolutely adores her human friends! She lights up for attention, melts for b***y scratches, and happily entertains herself with toys. She’s treat‑motivated, eager to please, and already knows “sit,” making her a delightful companion for anyone who loves a dog with a soft heart and a sweet spirit. Mamas would do best as the only dog in the home, as she isn’t showing friendliness toward other dogs here at the shelter. What she is showing is pure lovebug energy, hoping for a quiet place, gentle companionship, and a life far away from stressful kennel walls. Despite everything, Flynn still carries that signature charm — smart, eager to please, and capable of forming deep, loyal bonds with his person. Flynn can get nippy when over‑excited and needs redirection to appropriate activities. He’s energetic, spirited, and loves chasing lizards like he’s outrunning palace guards. On leash, he can be defensive and barky toward unfamiliar dogs and people, and his unstable past means he needs structure to feel safe. He’s whip‑smart, affectionate once bonded, and needs consistent training, stability, and clear guidance to grow into the bestest boy.
