Meet Nia, our energetic Play Group Specialist at The Bark Park East Sac, who ensures every pup in her pack has a safe, fun, and having a tail-wagging good time!

Nia loves getting to know the individual personality behind every dog she cares for at The Bark Park. From the goofy social butterflies to the pups who take a little more time to warm up, she enjoys discovering what makes each dog unique and creating positive, memorable experiences for them while they’re at daycare. She especially loves capturing the perfect photo along the way and knowing there’s a pet parent who will be excited to see their pup having a great day.

For Nia, making sure dogs feel comfortable, happy, and genuinely cared for is one of the most rewarding parts of being a Group Play Specialist at East Sac. When she’s not spending her day with the Bark Park pups, she enjoys playing fetch with her own dog, Lucy, painting and drawing, and searching thrift stores for hidden gems.

"Fur-tastic staff member in the spotlight today: Cam’ron! 🐾🦴"

Cam’ron is one of the friendly faces helping keep the playgroups running smoothly at our East Sac location. As a Group Play Specialist, he enjoys getting to know each dog’s personality and creating a fun, safe environment where pups can socialize, play, and build confidence throughout the day.

With experience in pet sitting, dog walking, and boarding care, Cam’ron has always been drawn to working with animals and building strong connections with them. Whether he’s keeping up with an energetic playgroup or helping a more timid dog settle in, he brings patience, attentiveness, and a calm presence to every shift.

Outside of work, Cam’ron enjoys painting, traveling, and watching classic movies — especially older thrillers. He loves spending time outdoors among the redwoods, with Muir Woods National Monument being one of his favorite places to visit. At home, he spends time with Bella, his chug mix, and Shredder, his red-eared slider turtle.

Today is all about the goofy grins, wagging tails, sloppy kisses, epic zoomies, and unconditional love that make life so much better. Around here, we’re lucky enough to celebrate dogs every single day—and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
