Shelters are not ideal environments for dogs to thrive long-term. Constant stress causes mental health decline, dogs become reactive or shut down, and medical issues worsen. We are deeply committed to transparency about each dog's needs and doing what's best for their quality of life, even when difficult.
Final Plea gives visibility to dogs whose well-being is declining in our care and who urgently need the structured, calm environments only rescue placement can provide.
