Cultivate a practice of GRATITUDE!

While I was in Illinois with my farmer-firefighter this past month, I intentionally took time each day to be in awe and gratitude. I especially focused on tiny details; the little things that I might have missed had I not been paying attention.

♥️ Noticing the wind moving through the trees and across the grass or fields of corn.
♥️ The feeling of expansion in my heart while looking at my husband as he laughed with our friends.
♥️ The noise of corn kernels being poured from the combine into the auger wagon.
♥️ Counting colors in the sky as the sun came up in the morning.
♥️ Marveling at the beauty of the sunset.
♥️ Sharing a meal with dear friends.
♥️ The fall of snowflakes, as they came down in what seemed like slow-motion.
♥️ The tractor chiseling the the field, stirring up the soil that had just nourished a crop of corn.
♥️ Prayers answered, just minutes after I had been praying.
♥️ HOT water pouring from a shower head, just with the turn of a k**b.
♥️ The scent and flavor of hot coffee, as the mug warmed my cold hands.

We had a full day of travel ahead and I was giddy about getting this time with my guy.
I was looking forward to sitting next to him on an airplane and watching him look out the window. He LOVES flying, and I LOVE watching him process and appreciate the entire experience.

I looked over at him as we were heading to the airport and said, “I GENUINELY enjoy you.”
Beves: “I generally enjoy you, too!”

Ummmmm that’s not the same. 🤣🤣🤣
But it did make me laugh.
ENJOYING him is so much fun and he truly is my favorite!

I am a life coach. When people ask me how long I’ve been a coach, I tell them “All my life lol. But I’ve been certified and coaching professionally for more than 5 years.”

I am certain I was created to help people. I’ve helped hundreds of people and want to help thousands more!! I cannot express my gratitude when people hire me and trust me and invite me to be in their corner!
Breakthrough and Miracles happen! Healing is available and suffering is optional.

We’d been together more than 26 years when we visited the Arch in St. Louis, and I never knew it was his FAVORITE landmark!

3 random facts about me....

•I LOVE getting older. Every year I feel more excited. I’ve been 45 for a month now, and it’s AWESOME!

•I only have 2 cousins and they are DOUBLE COUSINS!! I also have 3 brothers and 2 sisters. All of these Crazies are married to INCREDIBLE spouses, and I can’t believe how blessed we are to all have each other.

And my guy probably doesn’t know this about me.....

•my favorite activities in elementary school were playing “Beat The Clock” in math class and “Heads up, 7-up” on rainy days. Also, my 3rd grade teacher, Mr. Anderson, telling scary stories. 😬😂
