Pearl Island boa babies are ready to move!

My male Berry Island Boa (Chilabothrus strigilatus fowleri)! An extremely underrated locality boa. I found them to be great feeders, easy to handle, beautiful, and visiually different from both the other Chilabothrus and Boa genera I work with. While I haven’t produced the animal in the picture, it is my intention to breed him once his partner is up to age and size (albeit a long time from now).

Not going to lie, last 3 months have been rough. Moving to a new place filled with doubts and uncertainty has been anything but easy. Having my first snake litter not be a horror story is definitely a blessing.

I feel rejuvenated and hopefully I can pump more content and stay active on social media. My latest video can be found in my bio, where I give my audience more information about my recent litter. Thanks for following me and supporting me y’all. I appreciate it 🙏🏽

My goal for last year was to get as many sabogae as I feasibly can. Now, I have a group of 2.3. This year, I’d like to focus on making my enclosures as naturalistic as I can as well as provide as many enrichment opportunities as possible. Whats your goal for your reptile room this year?
