These senior cuties are ready for 🍂Fall 🍂 and are looking for loving rescue to spring them from the crowded shelter!

🌹 Zoey A927416 - 10 yrs young wire-haired chi mix. Recently surrendered by her owner, Zoey is incredibly friendly with people and has met other dogs with no issues. She does have some senior needs, including dental disease, cloudy eyes (but she gets around great!), and hair loss from flea allergy dermatitis.

🌮Tortilla A926908 -10 yr young chi mix. Tortilla has a few opinions to share—and he’s not afraid to express them! This little gentleman is looking for a senior rescue who will appreciate his personality and give him the TLC he deserves. He’s done well hanging out with other dogs. He has severe dental disease, but Tortilla is definitely not ready to retire from having fun!

💕URGENT! Rescue Needed by Sunday 9/6/26! 💕

Zendaya is a 3‑month‑old Border Collie pup diagnosed with megaesophagus, meaning her enlarged esophagus struggles to move food down. She needs medication and must be fed upright in a Bailey Chair to stay safe and nourished — something a shelter simply cannot provide.

Even with her medical challenges, Zendaya is pure sweetness: affectionate, gentle, and eager for connection. Megaesophagus is manageable, and many dogs live long, happy lives with proper feeding and care. Zendaya just needs a rescue angel who can give her the structure and support she can’t get in a kennel.

🐾 KENNY ROGERS A926627 | SHEPHERD | RESCUE NEEDED ❤️

Kenny Rogers came into the shelter and decided “Nope, I’m becoming a statue!” 😂🐶 He was so scared he wouldn’t move.

But with patience from staff and some special volunteers, Kenny is starting to walk on leash and trust people. ❤️

🐾💜 Nana Bear A926872 | 6-Month-Old Puppy in Need of Rescue 💜🐾

This sweet 6-month-old puppy, Nana Bear, has already been through so much and now needs a rescue to help her get the second chance she deserves. 🥺🐾

Nana Bear was left on a property that our officers initially could not access because the gates were locked. But one of our amazing Animal Control Officers refused to give up. She returned day after day, working to find a way to reach this little puppy. Finally, she was able to get someone to open the gates and safely bring Nana Bear to the shelter. 💜💜

Siegfried came into the shelter so scared that he wouldn’t move. Staff had to carry him out of his kennel to a quiet area just to see if we could help him. 🥺

Slowly, this sweet boy is making progress! He’s starting to walk on leash and allow handling without turning into a little statue. 🐶❤️

Now he needs a patient rescue to continue his journey and help him discover confidence and trust. 🐾
