Scent for Fun Level 2: This intermediate class opens up the floor and space for more advanced searches, pushing duration of search, and adding more distracting scenarios to the dogs in the class. These scent for fun class focuses on the connection between the dog and handler while they navigate the world around them through scent.

Scent for Fun Level Intro (11am Sundays, 10am Tuesdays ): The scent for fun class focuses on the connection between the dog and handler while they navigate the world around them through scent. These classes are not advertised or primarily designed as a competition foundation class, but instead uses scent work tools as a means of opening up the world for reactive or shy dogs, or as a teaser class for those who might be curious about competition scent work without pressure. This is a perfect class for the DIYer who would like to learn how to create their own scent puzzles at home.
Students will learn how scent moves through space, how dogs perceive the world through their noses, common terms in competitive scent work, and how to teach a dog to find a novel odor. These are the same foundations used in search and rescue, invasive species detection work, and competition scent work. Dogs will be introduced to Clove in this class.
