Had the opportunity this last week to swing by and help our friends over at Sachse Animal Services get Mr. Bruno all cleaned up and feeling like a new man!

This little dude came into the trailer with his coat covered in mats and knots, and worst of all, a couple of ticks the first time we’ve actually found ticks on one of the pups we’ve groomed. Needless to say, Bruno was definitely ready for a spa day. After some negotiations, a whole lot of brushing, trimming, bathing, and convincing him that I did, in fact, know what I was doing, we finally got through all that extra hair and found the handsome little man hiding underneath.

By the time we were finished, Bruno was cleaned up, considerably more comfortable, tick-free, and most importantly, we managed to find that smile that had been buried underneath all that hair. Always grateful for the opportunity to help out our local shelters and give pups like Bruno a little extra TLC while they wait for whatever comes next. Hopefully the next stop for this handsome dude is a couch of his own!

Well… somebody cleaned up nice!
