Grooming blind dogs is a little different, but no less rewarding.

For pups that can’t see, the world can feel a little uncertain, especially when some giant groomer starts messing with their feet, ears, and b***y. That’s why patience matters. Slow movements, a calm voice, gentle touch, and letting them know what’s coming can make all the difference.

Blind dogs may not be able to see us, but they absolutely feel trust, comfort, and kindness. Watching a nervous pup slowly realize they’re safe and start to relax is one of the best parts of what we do.

Every dog deserves to feel clean, comfortable, and cared for—sight or no sight. Bigfoot sized love to all the blind pups out there.

10/10 would absolutely groom again!

Sunshine Acres Animal Sanctuary, Inc. is currently organizing a large County-Wide Adoption Event & Festival on October 17th from 11 AM – 4 PM, and we are looking for compassionate veterinarians and veterinary technicians who would be interested in participating.

One of our biggest goals for this event is to offer low-cost vaccines and microchips to both family pets and rescued animals within our community. So many loving families and rescue organizations are struggling financially right now, and we want to help bridge that gap any way we can.
