🌡️🐾 Pet Heat Advisory 🐾🌡️

The Texas heat can be dangerous for our furry family members. As temperatures rise, help keep your pets safe by following these simple tips:

☀️ Walk your pets during the early morning or late evening.
💧 Always provide plenty of fresh, cool water.
🌳 Make sure they have access to shade or air conditioning.
🐾 Check the pavement with your hand—if it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for their paws.
🚗 Never leave your pet in a parked vehicle, even for a few minutes.
😓 Watch for signs of heatstroke, including excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, or collapse.

If you think your pet is suffering from heat exhaustion or heatstroke, seek veterinary care immediately. Quick action can save their life.

Stay cool, stay hydrated, and help your pets beat the heat! ❤️🐶🐱
