This won’t be a typical clinic where you ride for an hour and spend the rest of the day watching from the sidelines. Participants will work with Kathy throughout each day, sometimes as one large collaborative group and sometimes in smaller working groups. That format allows Kathy to offer individualized feedback while also giving everyone the chance to learn deeply from one another’s horses, questions, discoveries, and challenges
𝙒𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙆𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙮? She is a USDF Gold Medalist, author, horse development specialist, natural horsemanship instructor, liberty trainer, and upper-level event rider who has spent more than 20 years studying and teaching relationship-based horsemanship.
Kathy is known for her calm and thoughtful approach, helping riders understand how timing, body awareness, and feel shape every interaction we have with our horses. Her teaching emphasizes softness, clarity, trust, and communication — on the ground and under saddle.
Whether you’re interested in liberty work, groundwork, improving responsiveness under saddle, working through a particular challenge, or simply developing a deeper relationship with your horse, there will be plenty to explore.
