I’m headed up to zone 8 Jackman the next couple days scouting for my upcoming moose cow hunt next week! If you have any onX waypoints you can send me for some good spots I would greatly appreciate it! With that said, I am out of the shop until October 31st. If you have a deer that you harvest during that time and you would like a shoulder mount for it, get that deer cape in the freezer or ask your processor to keep it in the deep freeze for you and I can take it in on Sunday November 1st when I am back! Happy Hunting!

This is just one of those bucks that will make your taxidermist stand back and just admire for a minute… every deer has something unique, but some bucks you hate to finish and watch them leave….

Happy Maine Moose Season! Wishing everyone who received a moose tag success! Just wanted to touch base with my existing customers and friends, if you drew a moose tag and there is a possibility you will have a moose mount done this season (wether you are successful or not) please send me a message and let me know. I already have moose coming in (this moose, pic below, will be coming in tomorrow) and I only have a few available slots left. These beasts are huge and take an incredible amount of time and freezer space. I want to make sure I can accommodate you! As always thanks for choosing Wales Rack Shack! Happy hunting!

Shout out to Nick P. he picked up his buck and sent me this pic of it hung up on his office wall! I love this buck! I’m thankful for your repeat business, wishing you success this season!

A couple of nice bucks that went to their homes today. Thank you Sean and thank you Zack! Best of luck this hunting season!

Just a reminder with bow season upon us. This is a great imagine of where to make your cuts for a shoulder mount. Also ask your processor to tube cape your deer so you don’t have to have a long cut all the way down the back of your deer that isn’t necessary. If you have any questions just reach out to me!

A couple of bucks that went home this week. I’ve been so busy I haven’t had a lot of time to post pics. I appreciate all of my customers. Hopefully y’all have some great buck prospects hanging around for the upcoming season!

This beautiful wall pedestal went home with Damien T. today. What a beautiful tall rack on this one. Thanks for your business, wishing you best of luck this upcoming season!

Thank you to Josh T. for trusting in me to mount this beast of a moose from the 2025 season. It’s hard to get good pics of them because they literally fill up the whole room! We equipped this moose with removeable antlers for easier transport. I appreciate your repeat business!

An update for all of my 2025 whitetail deer customers: I am happy to say that yesterday I received all of your whitetail deer capes back from the tannery! That means…. No time off for me until they are home with you! 😂 Have a great day, appreciate all of you!
