Happy New Year to all of my wonderful customers! I appreciate all of the business you have brought me! Anyone like this idea for a mount option? Would be cheaper than a shoulder mount but more expensive than a euro mount. I think it’s pretty cool looking.

This is the last buck of the 2024 hunting season all roughed in! Finish work will be done in a couple weeks! This means I managed to get all of my customers shoulder mounts mounted and back to them ahead of schedule! Mean what you say and say what you mean is my business motto around here!

I’ve surpassed my intake cutoff for deer shoulder mounts, I will still be taking in existing customers and family/friends deer. But turn around times will be more like 14 - 15 months currently. I don’t have enough freezer space left to keep taking in deer from new customers the rest of the season on shoulder mounts (unless you are in the category’s of existing or friends/family). I guess there isn’t enough time in the day with a job, a business, horses and a husband… 😂

Good luck tomorrow to all Mainers on opening day of deer rifle season! Please call 207-212-0941 to schedule a drop off time for your deer cape. If I do not answer please leave a message, it’s a busy time of year and I don’t always answer the phone. I will call you back asap.
Time is of essence from the moment your buck is harvested, skin and get cooled asap. If packing with ice put ice in bags that will not leak water onto the hide. Please remember to ask your butcher to tube cape your deer instead of cut the cape all the way down its back. It produces a much nicer shoulder mount when the hair is not disturbed. I will take it in if it’s cut either way, but tubing is what I recommend. I have video or pic I can send you if necessary. Any questions please call.
