We officially welcomed nine new cats and kittens and one dog into our care.

​Some of you might remember the pup—our sweet boy Auggie is back with us and looking for his true forever home. ❤️

As June rolls around and the heat cranks up, we've got six cool cats (and dogs) - Shyamalan, Bob, Micah, Barbie, Marcus, and Jack - who are chilling with their new families and loving every minute of it! We're totally thrilled for them, and huge thanks go out to our adoption rockstars and supporters who help make these happy endings possible. Without you, these little bundles of joy might be in a world of trouble.

Our puppies are running low on food! We still have a few puppies that rely on the nourishment of the puppy food. It doesn't have to be Purina Proplan but we have hungry mouths to feed and can sure use it! You can donate through our amazon link to have it shipped right to us or you can bring some by our facility at 380 US HWY 221 N in Rutherfordton, or drop some off at our thrift store. We appreciate you.

💔 Sweet Scarlet Needs Your Help 💔

Scarlet recently lost her owner, and her world has been turned upside down. While her family loves her deeply, they are unfortunately not financially able to take her in. Now, Scarlet is looking for a fresh start—and a little help getting back on her feet (literally!).

🐶 About Scarlet:

Weight: 25 lbs (She’s a bit extra-chunky and needs a foster home to help her on a weight-loss journey!)

Medical Needs: She needs to see the vet for an issue with her right front leg.

💵 The Goal: $150 – $200 We need to raise funds to cover her upcoming vet visit. Every dollar counts, and no amount is too small to help Scarlet heal.

🐾 New Faces at the Rescue! 🐾

This week, we welcomed a sweet mama dog with her four puppies, one single pup, and four beautiful cats.

Some of these sweet souls came from incredibly tough situations, while others came from loving homes where they could simply no longer stay. Whatever their pasts look like, we are so grateful that we are a part of their future. We have opened our doors to give them a safe, warm place to land while we help them find their perfect forever families.

We can’t do this vital work alone. Every animal that enters our care receives medical attention—including spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, and essential vaccines—to ensure they are happy, healthy, and ready for adoption.

Three precious lives were forever changed when Fred, Brandy, and Moo found their forever homes last week. 13 lucky dogs and puppies left for their forever homes this week!
Eight from Rutherford County Animal Control Services and five from HFAR!🐾✨

We are absolutely thrilled to be a part of their journeys to fresh starts and happy tails. A massive THANK YOU to everyone involved in making this happen. From the volunteers who exercised the pups before their big trip, to the drivers, the paperwork heroes, and everyone working behind the scenes—we truly couldn't do this without you! ❤️
