Kitie, (Color Challenged), crossed over the Rainbow Bridge July 30, at the age of 27.
She was my first Quarter Horse, having had Saddlebreds and Arabs before that. Kitie was a diva in her younger years, but sweetly mellowed out later. She was in a lot of pain, but was such a stoic mare and pushed through it time and time again. She won the Rockindoc Farm Challenge Trophy, having three consecutive years in a row with the most points. She showed in a variety of classes, even though she was one of the slowest! And she still won ribbons in those events. She also won a high point award one year from the Blue Ridge Horse Force shows. My daughter, and her step daughter, also rode her and won many ribbons with her. Kitie was dearly loved and already is sorely missed. Gallop free, pretty girl!! ♥️♥️♥️
