🌟INTRODUCING TOOTSIE🌟 Tootsie (AKA Toot-Toot, Tootie Frutti, Tootsie Roll, etc.) is now looking for her FUR-ever home!
Some of you may have already met her at the office, as she has been dubbed the “clinic dog” for the past few months.
Tootsie was brought to us by a good samaritan after she had been hit by a car and left in the street. She had not one, but TWO broken legs❗️One leg was not able to be saved. The other leg finally healed after a few months of TLC from our girls at Parkway. ❤️ Toot has lived at the office for a couple of months and has recently been staying with one of our staff members so she can experience a home life. 🏠 Here’s what we’ve learned about her: Tootsie is a small girl. She is friendly with other small dogs (bigger dogs scare her a little) and doesn’t mind cats. She likes to pretend cats don’t exist because they’re suspicious to her. 👀 Only having three legs doesn’t slow her down much. She loves to run in the yard! However, she will need help sometimes getting up and down off of furniture. She loves to sleep in the bed and couch cuddles! She loves to chew on a nyla-bone (and sometimes things she isn’t supposed to). She just isn’t quite sure what dog toys are yet. 🦴 Tootsie likes a small circle of friends. We suspect there is some chihuahua hidden in her genes. She can be a little anxious sometimes. She loves her girls at Parkway, but she’s not a super big fan of men. Toot would do well in a home with ladies or a family with a singular man in the home (as long as that man is okay with her maybe not loving him completely). She has not had much experience with children. Most likely, she would do okay with older children who can respect her personal space. 🤍 Of course, she has been given a clean bill of health. We suspect she is around 2-3 years old. She is spayed! She is heartworm negative. She does not have a microchip.
She is up to date on: ✅Rabies ✅Distemper/Parvo/Lepto ✅Bordetella ✅Yearly heartworm prevention ✅Monthly flea/tick medicine ⭐️Tootsie is ready to find someone to earn her trust! We will be picky!
She’s very special to us! Please reach out to our email if you are interested.⭐️ 📥 [email protected]

Hello all!
We would like to take a moment to remind everyone about the importance of keeping your cats protected from fleas and ticks, especially as we start to move into summer🌞 Unfortunately, we have already seen some cases of tick-borne illness in cats this year and we are just getting into the warmer months, which means the ticks are going to be rough. We don't like that😟
Like dogs, cats are at risk for tick-borne illnesses without the proper protection and yes, those babies that "never go outside" are still at risk, and that is because you go outside🚪Parasites can be brought in on your clothing or belongings and you probably would never see them hitching a ride. As much as we don't like to think about that, it is a very real possibility. The best choice is to keep your pets on a flea and tick prevention all year round, inside or out, to give them extra defense against illness and disease like Bob Cat fever, ehrlichiosis and even Lyme disease!
Give us a call today if you have any questions or need to get started on prevention and lets continue to keep those fur babies safe!💕

A huge thank you to the Norman family!!! They brought us cheese!!🧀😍
This has been a challenging week and all this emotional support snacking has really helped. Thank you to everyone who brings us goodies, cards, kind words and smiles. Sometimes, it is exactly what helps get us through those harder days.❤️

Good Thursday Morning! 🌞
We had a case yesterday that reminded us it would be a good time to share some information about Xylitol.
Xylitol is used in a lot of food products and unfortunately, it is very dangerous for your pets. We've included a link with some great information on where you might find xylitol and what to do if you think your pet might have gained access to a product with xylitol in the ingredients. Awareness is the best prevention so please check out the link and reach out if you have any questions! Let's keep those fur babies healthy and safe!❤️

It has been brought to our attention that for the second time in a month there is someone attempting to scam our clients😤. There have been some posts going up that are not affiliated with our practice about buying t-shirts. We have been trying to get these posts taken down but they are going up fast. If you see a post or are tagged in one, please report the page and block them. The current one is coming from a site called the Healer Tribe and we have figured out they make their business by stealing logos and reselling them.😟 We apologize for any confusion and we are working hard to get this fixed... and to those responsible, Wink is very unhappy with you!
