People with chronic illness aren’t being “difficult.”

They’re constantly calculating consequences most people never have to think about.

What looks like a simple task to someone else can cost days of symptoms, exhaustion, or crashing afterwards.

That invisible trade-off is one of the hardest parts of living with chronic illness.

Just a dog who loves his momma and a brush!! What started out as a better day then most. Spending time with my boy brushing him. Took a turn at some point while we were just outside. My watch picked up "walking" activity while I was brushing him. Which turned my watch into livetrack mode. I had no idea it changed modes and when I was about to be done brushing him. He alerted me twice. Two minutes after his alert Trea calls to check on me Tori texts and 911 texts me because my watch sent them assistance notification . And since then Sammy has had me on bed rest for the day.
I have absolutely no idea what I would do with out him especially days like today when I am here by myself. Just always remember. Enjoy the good and better days 🩵🐕‍🦺
