This year's annual observance of National Pet Memorial day will be on Sunday, September 13th, from Noon until 2 pm. We will be holding our traditional Candle Lighting Service at our cemetery at 12:30, with candles available for guests who do not bring a custom one. Light refreshments will be available.

So sad I didn't get a chance to visit!

Flooding from Hurricane Helene likely washed away the Rainbow Bridge, which was part of Lake Lure Flowering Bridge near Chimney Rock, North Carolina. It had served as a pet memorial.

Hi, everyone! Just wanted to let you all know that this year, for National Pet Memorial Day, Sunday September 8th, we will not be hosting a service. The cemetery will of course be open, and the candle table will be set up for anyone who wishes to visit and leave a memorial. We hope you find time to visit!

Please feel free to join us at noon on Sunday, September 10th at our beautiful cemetery. Pets (on leash) are very welcome as well. We are looking forward to see you all again!

Wow! We want to thank everyone who came out in the rain for our Pet Memorial Day observance. Mom was nervous that it would be a washout, but we had a great crowd! It was wonderful to see so many new faces, as well as many of our old friends. Despite the rain, the candle table was full and bright. Here are some photos of the beautiful tribute to our MC, Fern Hilsinger, who was deeply missed. Please feel free to add pictures in the comments. Thanks again to everyone who came and shared the day with us, you guys make all of this worthwhile, and we couldn't keep going without you ❤️

We *are* holding our annual observance of National Pet Memorial Day this year! If you would like, please join us Sunday, September 11th. We will have an open house/meet and greet in the cemetery from 11 to 1, with a small memorial service and candle-lighting at Noon. We hope the weather remains lovely, and look forward to seeing you. :-)
