Hey everyone, I’m Heavenlee, the owner of Koda’s Legacy Animal Sitting — a pet sitting and dog walking business I’ve been building and growing for almost 4 years now.
Koda’s Legacy was founded with a long-term vision of becoming a full-scale sanctuary and rehabilitation center dedicated to dogs facing behavioral challenges such as fear reactivity, aggression, and resource guarding.
The inspiration behind Koda’s Legacy comes from my own husky, Koda, who was unfortunately put down due to severe fear reactivity. That experience profoundly shaped my mission. While it is something I carry with me every day, it also drives my commitment to ensuring that other dogs like Koda—and their families—are given the support, resources, and opportunities they deserve.
My goal is to create a space where dogs with behavioral challenges are understood, rehabilitated, and given a real chance at a better life, while also empowering their owners with guidance and hope.
At this time, Koda’s Legacy operates by providing in-home pet sitting, dog walking, and drop-in visit services. These services allow me to continue building meaningful relationships with clients and their pets while working toward the larger vision.
In the future, Koda’s Legacy will grow into the sanctuary and rehabilitation center it was always meant to be—a place dedicated to giving dogs like Koda a second chance.
We’re fully insured and trusted all across South Jersey, but what really sets us apart is simple: we don’t just “check in” on your pets… we care for them like they’re our own. Real love, real attention, real peace of mind while you’re away.
