With a coat that looks like it was brushed with sunshine and caramel, Guero is the kind of dog who turns heads everywhere he goes. At around 55 pounds and 5 years old, this handsome pit mix has mastered the art of being both strikingly good-looking and incredibly sweet.

Guero is a world-class cuddle enthusiast who believes affection is best shared generously. Whether he's leaning in for extra pets, soaking up attention, or simply hanging out by your side, he's happiest when he's with his people.

If you're looking for a dog with a sense of style, Guero has you covered. This charming fellow recently strutted his stuff in a chicken costume and absolutely owned the look as he posed as the mascot for our Facebook Spooky Season Pet Costume Contest (see pinned post)

Equal parts gentleman, comedian, and snuggle buddy, Guero is ready to bring warmth, laughter, and plenty of love to his forever home. If you've been searching for a loyal companion with movie-star looks, a heart of gold, and the confidence to rock poultry-themed couture, Guero may be exactly who you've been waiting for.

This Saturday 17th October we will have a few $5 TNR vouchers available.

Thanks to generous community donations and support from partners like Best Friends, we are periodically able to offer these vouchers at this reduced cost. As the first frosts of the season arrive, it's a timely reminder that outdoor cat colonies face increasing challenges, especially vulnerable kittens. Spaying and neutering community cats helps reduce suffering, improve their health and well-being, and lessens the strain on shelter and rescue resources. It's a simple step that benefits everyone, but most importantly, it benefits the cats.

Oh, Rover. With that sunshine-colored coat, permanently happy grin, and ears that seem to be making their own decisions, this 6-month-old Great Pyrenees mix looks like he stepped straight out of a storybook and is searching for his next adventure.
Rover firmly believes that every day is meant for discovering something wonderful. A leaf dancing across the yard? Fascinating. A butterfly passing through? Potential best friend. A walk around the neighborhood? An epic expedition worthy of a hero's tale.
At just over six months old, Rover is still a puppy, which means he's full of curiosity, enthusiasm, and delightful moments of goofiness. He approaches life with the confidence of a great explorer and the charm of a dog who knows everyone he meets is probably just a friend he hasn't greeted yet.
His soft golden coat looks like it's been dipped in sunshine, and his expressive face has a way of making people smile before they've even said hello. Add in that happily wagging tail and signature tongue-out grin, and it's nearly impossible not to fall under his spell.
Rover is looking for a family to join him on all of life's adventures, big and small. Whether that's hiking a trail, exploring the backyard, or simply supervising snack time from a nearby rug, he's ready to be your loyal companion.
When fairy tales have canine sidekicks, they'll probably look a lot like Rover.

Keyboard may have a name borrowed from office equipment, but don't let that fool you. This 2½-year-old Heeler's heart belongs out on the range. Equal parts trail scout, adventure buddy, and loyal sidekick, Keyboard is happiest when he's exploring the world one sniff at a time.
Whether he's investigating a new path, checking the latest neighborhood wildlife reports, or setting out on a daily expedition with his favorite human, Keyboard approaches life with curiosity and enthusiasm. The best part? This handsome cowboy is working on his leash manners, making him a dream companion for walks and wanderings alike.
Keyboard isn't looking for a desk job. He's looking for a partner in adventure. Someone who appreciates fresh air, scenic routes, and a steadfast friend trotting happily by their side.
So if you've been searching for a dog who's got the spirit of the Wild West, the manners of a gentleman, and ears that seem permanently tuned in for the next exciting journey, Keyboard is ready to type his way straight into your heart. 🤠🐾❤️

His name may be Keyboard, but his soul is all cowboy.
