🐾 Meet Teah Ronga! 🐾
We’re excited to introduce Teah, a 4th-year veterinary student at Washington State University who is set to graduate this coming May!
Over the past two weeks, Teah has been gaining hands-on experience, learning, and assisting our team here at Franklin Veterinary Clinic. It has been a pleasure having her with us and watching her enthusiasm for veterinary medicine in action.
After graduation, Teah plans to return to New Mexico and work in a mixed animal practice. Her favorite area of veterinary medicine is cattle reproduction and herd health.
When asked about some of her favorite experiences during her time with us, Teah shared that assisting with the castration of a zebra and helping with an emergency pyometra spay in a dog were definite highlights!
Thank you, Teah, for spending time with us. We wish you the best as you finish veterinary school and begin your career—we know you’ll do great things! 🐄🐕🩺

Happy Veterinary Receptionist Week to the two amazing women who keep our clinic running day in and day out! 🐾

You are the first voices our clients hear and the first smiles they see when they walk through our doors. From juggling phones, appointments, and animals (sometimes all at once!) to comforting worried pet owners (and the rest us)
… you handle it all with patience, compassion, and grace.

Your hard work does not go unnoticed. Our team, our clients, and their pets are better because of you. We are so grateful to have you as the heart of our front desk.

Thank you Raven & Allie for everything you do
…. today and every day! 💙

Call and get your dental scheduled with us today to avoid some of these common dental issues!! 🦷

TUESDAY TIDBITS: EQUINE DENTAL HEALTH 🦷

Equine dental health is not only crucial for keeping your equine companion's pearly whites healthy but also for the overall health of the animal in general.

Common dental issues such as the ones mentioned in the graphic can negatively affect the health of the teeth themselves as well as gum, gastrointestinal, and overall mouth health. Dental issues can also impact chewing and food grinding, further exacerbating digestive tract issues.

Has your horse struggled with any of these dental issues before? Let us know below ⬇️

As always, if you have questions or concerns about your horse's dental health, contact your equine veterinarian.
