Today marks Eric’s 2nd anniversary in Heaven.

Two years ago today, around 5:00–5:15 PM, we were cleaning up the salon and getting ready to head home to our families. Sadly, Elicia never got to make it home to her husband. We received the heartbreaking phone call that Eric had suffered a massive heart attack while finishing up a quick job as he waited for her to get off work.

May 14th is, without a doubt, one of our most hated days.

We now take this day off every year so Elicia can have the day to herself and spend it however she needs to.

I just wanted to take a moment to remember Eric and to tell Elicia how incredibly proud we all are of her. It takes so much strength to pick yourself up and keep going after a loss that changes your entire life. I know you never wanted to have to be this strong, but you have shown up every day and held it together the best you can.

I love you, and I truly hope you know how proud Eric would be of you.

Eric was the one who found our little building and helped turn it into our awesome little ELM’s Grooming salon. He was always trying to help Elicia grow in her career and build something of her own. I know he is so proud to see you keeping it going, thriving, and making him proud every single day.

We love you, Elicia. You are always in our prayers, and thank you for everything you do.

Eric, you are dearly missed. We will keep talking about you, remembering you, and keeping your spirit alive.

We’ll see you when we get there. 🖤

Hey ELM’s Grooming Family! 💕🐾

The salon will be closed tomorrow, May 4th, as we head out on a quick family getaway to Cozumel! 🌴🚢 April is a very busy birthday month for us, so we decided to celebrate everything all at once! 🎉

🎂 Happy Birthday to:
• Jenn’s mom – April 5th
• Jenn – April 13th
• Jenn’s husband – April 18th
• Elicia’s son Ethyn – April 23rd

💍 Jenn and her husband will also be celebrating 10 years of marriage on this cruise on May 1st, so we thought this was the perfect chance to celebrate it all together! ❤️

We will be unavailable to check our work phone while we are away, but as soon as we return to the salon on May 5th, we will be playing catch-up and getting back with everyone as quickly as possible.

We love y’all so much and truly appreciate each and every one of you. Thank y’all for always supporting us! 🐶✂️💖

Our ELM’s Grooming building received a much needed spa day yesterday! Thank you so much DFW Pressure Washing Our little building looks so Fresh N so clean now!! 😊 DFW Pressure Washing was so professional and extremely kind to us when getting us booked we are so happy to have found them! Now to get our little pillars repainted and get that darn tree that fell taken care of!

I just realized we have been MIA for a bit since our Disney trip!! Just checking in with everyone and wanting to do a photo dump of some of the cuties we’ve seen over the past few days/weeks/months! ELM’s Grooming fam… WE’RE OFF TO SEE A MOUSE 🐭✨🎉
The salon will be closed this coming week (yes, we know… TERRIBLE timing after last week’s weather closure 😂💀).

Elicia and I are literally heading to the airport right now ✈️ and losing our minds over a best-friend Disney trip + a very late 3-years-in-business “we survived” celebration 🥹🎉🏰.

If you need us, we’ll be
✨ crying during fireworks
✨ living our best main-character lives at the castle
✨ or screaming our heads off on a roller coaster 🎢😱

We love y’all SO much and are beyond grateful for the support. We’ll be back, recharged and ready to groom, bright and early Monday, February 9th 🐶✂️💕
