We bred our Appy stallion, Mists Roaring Thunder, to two mares. One was our pony Tinkerbelle and the other, one of our Morgan mares, LH Rose of Sharon. Here are our 2024 stud c**ts.

Our long yearlings were brought in from the pasture in September so we could advance their training. They are now ready for anyone to handle them as they can lead, tie and load.

Beautiful day on the farm gave us a chance to video one of our yearlings.

We quietly led and turned out the yearlings today in the front pasture. They settled in quickly after checking the boundaries. So sensible.
The bay is a Morgan filly named LH Maisie(LH Richmond x LH Bunny Jane). The black gelding named LH Onyx is a Morgan/Appaloosa cross (Mists Roaring Thunder x LH Robin) The dun with spots named LH Tanner is also a Morgan/Appaloosa cross ( Mists Roaring Thunder x LH Veronica)

Spring is a busy time at Tom Simmons Stables. Today we led LH Richmond to several mares. Some were receptive and some were not. We breed kind athletic mares to our stallions. For us, disposition is just as important as athletic ability.
